  • Miracles Still Happen!

Every Monday night, I would attend a worship service with my boyfriend to sing songs of praises to God. Often times after the worship service, the pastor would come up to the stage and ask if anyone needs healing in their bodies and so everyone can gather together, lay their hand on the person and pray for him. My boyfriend and I are both born again Christians and were never really exposed to this type of method of healing so we were both quite skeptical about it. I don't think the both of us have ever experienced immediate healing after a prayer either so we weren't 100% sure if it'll work!

However, my boyfriend had been experiencing a terrible backache for quite some time and he wasn't sure why and how he developed it. He tried taking pain killers and going to the massage therapist but that stuff didn't work. He was even planning to get his back aligned. So since my boyfriend hasn't found a way to get his back fixed yet, I figured that I should get people to come over and pray for him! Besides, there's nothing to lose to try it out. So we got some people to come pray for him and put their hand on his back. These people weren't supernatural though. They were random audiences that sat next to us during the service.

After all of us have prayed to God to heal my boyfriend, we asked him to wiggle a bit and check to see if he was still hurting. To his surprise he found that the pain was all gone! He even gave me that dumbstruck look 'cause he was so amazed silly. My boyfriend wasn't the only one who had his back healed that night. There 2 other guys who also experienced the same healing. It's pretty amazing!

I've seriously never encountered anything like this before, and neither have I known anyone close to me whose experienced anything like this. God's grace is so unlimited and He never ceases to show us how much He loves us. I've always thought that miracles like this is supernatural and uncommon, but God reminded me that night that healing is part of His nature. It's natural for God to heal and it's natural for Him to be able to do such great things. God is certainly an awesome God. Praise be to Him.

Now that I think of it, I should have asked someone to pray for my shoulder blade muscle. Maybe next time. Teehee silly

I'd definitely recommend anyone to ask a group of people to pray for you. Get your friends or your family to gather together and pray for you. Believe that you will be healed by God!

    God bless

  • Sick of Being a Worry Bug =(

I have a 40% exam today and I'm worrying about it even though I have done my best studying for it. This morning in Our Daily Bread, I get a reply from Jesus saying:

‎[Matthew 6:34] "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

I shall trust in Him, who gives me strength heart

Do your best and let God do the rest!

  • Plans to Prosper You

"Cancer is the best thing that happened to me" - Zac Smith's Story (Part 1)

Follow Up Video From the Wife of Zac Smith (Part 2)

    [Jeremiah 29:11-14]

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD..."

This verse has appeared to me almost five times in the past week. And I think God is trying to tell me something.

Life has been like a roller-coaster lately and there were times when I felt very discouraged. Sometimes I ask why I would have to go through those things. But in the end, I realized that the question shouldn't be why. Zac Smith's faithfulness to God made me realize that the question should be: Are you still willing to follow Christ even when life is difficult?

    My answer: Yes. Yes. Yes.

    What's your answer?
